چکیده

In this report, we describe a case of healthy 67-year-old female with rapidly growing red nodules on the scalp that demonstrated histological features benign epithelioid hemangioma multiple instances yet behaved clinically as malignant angiosarcoma. Despite rounds resection, radiation, and chemotherapy, patient ultimately succumbed from her widely metastatic disease. Diagnosis vascular neoplasms, including spectrum low-grade hemangioma, intermediate-grade hemangioendothelioma, high-grade angiosarcoma remains challenging due to overlapping clinical histopathological features. This report is presented highlight need for clinicians interpret histopathology, whether or malignant, in context observation course may not always match biopsy.

Here we report a case of primary epithelioid angiosarcoma (eas) of the breast occurring in a 30-year-old woman. Following fine-needle asspiration cytology (fnac) and tru-cut biopsy, the patient was initially diagnosed with mammary carcinoma and thereafter underwent modified radical mastectomy. Postoperative histopathologic examination and immunohistochemistry revealed a diagnosis of primary epi...

Madura foot masquerading as a hemangioma

Mycetoma, also known as Madura foot, is a rare soft-tissue granulomatous infection caused by Actinomyces or true fungi. The MRI "dot-in-circle" sign has been described as a characteristic finding of mycetoma. This sign represents spherical T2 bright masses containing central and intervening low-signal-intensity foci. However, other soft-tissue masses can have similar appearances. We present a c...

Orbital liposarcoma masquerading as a hemangioma.

Liposarcomas are the most common soft tissue sarcomas in adulthood, comprising approximately 20% of all sarcomas; most present in the extremities and retroperitoneum (1). Despite the large amount of adipose tissue in the orbit, orbital liposarcomas are rare. Diagnosis can be challenging due to the rarity of the entity and the pathological similarity to benign adipose tumors (2, 3). Fortunately,...
